Accuracy is one of the most important factors to consider when using tape measures as a part of your promotional activity. In the UK, tape accuracy is determined by EU standards which will classify them as accurate to EC Class I, Class II or Class III. If they don’t meet Class III standards then they’re described as unclassified.
Class I tape measures are the most accurate with a tolerance of +/- 1.1mm over a 10m length. On promotionaltapemeasures.co.uk our tape measures are Class II rated, which means they’re accurate to +/- 2.3mm and are accurate enough for most construction professionals. Each of our tapes have both metric and imperial markings.
